Los Angeles, CA, November 29, 2022 – ChangeUp, the world’s leading donation software company that powers some of the world’s largest brands, including the first and only donation bot on Discord, has launched the first ‘Giving Season’ campaign with acclaimed artist, Lindsey Sterling on the social platform. Donations will support DollarFor.Org and The Upside Fund, Sterling’s foundation that helps those struggling to pay medical debt. The campaign has a target goal of $25,000 and will run from ‘Giving Tuesday,’ November 29, through New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2022.
“I am so grateful for ChangeUp’s support and making it possible to interact with my amazing fans on Discord,” said Lindsey Sterling. “This is such an engaging and giving community, I am excited about what we will do together to provide for those who need us not only today, but year round.”
“The community and impact that Lindsey continues to build is a testament to what the giving season is all about,” said Bob Soderstrom. Co-Founder and CEO of ChangeUp. “We are thrilled to support the first ‘Giving Season’ campaign on Discord and further our mission to revolutionize charitable giving through micro-donations.”
In recent years, ChangeUp has experienced a 25%-30% boost in donations over Giving Season with e-commerce partners including The Honest Company, e.l.f. Cosmetics, TaylorMade Golf, and KIND via its solution for Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
ChangeUp’s most recent product, Donate on Discord, launched in October and is the first ever donation tool available to the 150 million users on Discord. Traffic to the bot has increased 3X week over week and is used by popular servers including Imagine Dragons. Recently, Discord debuted its App Directory and the ChangeUp Donate app was included in the inaugural class.
For Discord admins interested in adding “donate” to their servers, you can select the cause, create customized campaigns, and offer incentives and custom user roles to encourage members to donate. One hundred percent of donations go directly to the selected charity.
ChangeUp is an integrated donation software solution that empowers some of the world’s largest brands, including Mastercard, Vans, The Honest Company, e.l.f. Cosmetics, KIND, PopSockets, and TaylorMade Golf to facilitate micro-donations to over 1.5M 501(c)3 nonprofits.
